New Moon Oracle Message – 2026.10.10

Happy New Moon in Libra, and welcome to the 10/10 Portal! I’m switching things up a little bit: Instead of the usual 6-card reading with a tarot deck, I did a 3-card reading with the wonderful Oracle of the Wild TalismAnimals by the fabulous Melissa “Misha” Nell (a.k.a @mishakitty78 on social media). Not only Misha is an amazing herbalist and Reiki master, she’s also an incredible artist — she created all the artwork and wrote the guidebook for the oracle deck! And she is also a beautiful dancer! So I absolutely recommend checking out her work.

Enough of my fangirling over Misha… Here is the message* Oracle of the Wild TalismAnimals has for us for this moon cycle –Swipe to see the cards pulled…

* Informed by Oracle of the Wild TalismAnimals guidebook, written by Misha.

THe Challenge

Lyrebird ~ Sing Your Own Song

In the age of Social Media where a lot of us are content creators vying for clicks and likes, trying to get the attention of (potential) customers, it’s so easy to fall into that trap of following trends and posting things just to please the algorithms. In order to attract more followers, many of us do or create what AI tells us the followers like. Slowly creativity is stifled, and everyone’s work starts to look like one another. Lyrebird reminds us to recognize our own unique expressions and revel in our creative process. We can learn from and be inspired by each other; take all we learn from others and develop our own songs from that combined knowledge. Lyrebird asks us to celebrate our own creations and recognize the beauty that we each have in our individual songs.

The Opportunity

Red Fox ~ Cultivate Humor

Red foxes are the best known of all foxes, and are known for their playfulness and mischievous nature. The Red Fox asks us to seize any opportunity to laugh and find enjoyment as we proceed on our paths. While we might be all stressed out over our creative process (per the CHALLENGE from Lyrebird), try finding humor in all the little, even mundane, things. Don’t take ourselves so seriously, and laugh about all the adventures and misadventures we encounter in life.

The Lesson

Swallow-Tailed Kite ~ Soar High to See Clearly

Sometimes when we are so focus on certain thing(s), we become tunnel-visioned. We can no long see the other perspectives, the other possibilities, the “BIG PICTURE”. Swallow-Tailed Kite asks us to step back for a moment, change our perspective and take in the entire scope of things. The “BIG PICTURE” can reveal habits, patterns and beliefs that need to be released or heal; it can also unveil possibilities, paths and ideas that we might have missed while being sooooo focus on our process and progress. Swallow-Tailed Kite reminds us that we can see more clearly when we choose to take a farther vantage point.

I find this month’s message deeply personally, as the CHALLENGE is definitely something I have been struggling with for a while. Both the OPPORTUNITY and the LESSON are great reminders for myself as well. Does any of this resonate with you? I’d love to hear what you personally get out of the reading.

For my Ko-fi cohort:

For my Ko‑fi cohort members, I consulted the Greenwood Tarot for the complete New Moon Outlook reading. The much loved Greenwood Tarot was created by artist Chesca Potter and actor/writer Mark Ryan. First published in 1996, it is a deck that presents itself as “…a journey of exploration into the symbolism and legend of the mythic forest.” As a system it draws upon the history, archaeology and mythology of Europe to align the cards of the tarot with the Wheel of the Year, the changing of the seasons as they pass through the solstice and the equinox points and through the four Celtic fire festivals of Imbolc, Beltane, Lammas and Samhain.

You can view the complete New Moon Outlook on the Ko-fi portal or the VIP-only Discord channel… Not yet a member? Sign up is easy and there are lots of perks. Just visit https://ko-fi.com/poisonandbee/tiers for details.
